We went adn stayed in teh mountains, in Debbie and Eric's cabin for a night! It was snowing like crazy up there even though it was so nice out everywhere else in Colorado

We had a great time in Colorado wiht John's family. We played tons of games, ate lots of good food, and just hung out. It was a lot of fun!!! I even got to beat john at clue TWICE after he kept telling me how good he was at it.. hah!! It was good times..

OUR FIRST CHRISTMAS!

You don't need to tell me how beautiful I look in these pictures. I'm already aware that I look ridiculously awesome!.. hah! So, John and I had our own little christmas on christmas eve, before leaving for Colorado. John got me ski pants, gloves, and thermal underwear (cuz he knows I'm always cold). I was excited.. cuz i love sledding .. and I"m hoping to do some skiing this winter.. and I was not adequately equipped with the proper gear!.. John got slippers, the game sequence, a garage parking detector, a car vaccuum, and a t-shirt that says "no, I will not fix your computer.".. We had a fun time. We also got to open some presents from my parents and nana and bim!.. We got the famous hand-knit mittens from my nana!!! What would christmas be without those??? Anyways, I won't bore you with the entire list of gifts, but we got some good stuff!!! It was a fun day. Merry Christmas!

Lights on Temple Square

This last week, we went with some friends in our ward to see the lights on temple square! It was really fun. It wasn't even that cold out.. We even got to see a little bit of the tabernacle choir concert on a tv in the tabernacle. We all walked around temple square, took pictures, and then went home to have some tasty treats.

Gingerbread Houses

Some friends came over and we all made gingerbread houses. We all bought different kits, so it was pretty funny to see the differences. We had some difficulties with some of the frosting, but don't worry.. we came up with our own recipe!! It was good times, and I think I ate more candy than I put on my house.. oops!

OUR FIRST CHRISTMAS TREE!

It took me forever, but I FINALLY talked to John into getting a Christmas tree... and lights.. and bulbs.. and a stand (Christmas trees are high maintenance!). We strapped the tree to the top of the corolla!! Needless to say, we had a lot of fun setting up the tree and decorating it. One of my favorite things to do is to sit by the tree at night and just staring at the lights. ahhhhhhh (sigh) Gotta love Christmas time.

We got a huge package of bakery goods from john's friend for a wedding gift. As you can see, we're going to gain about 10 pounds each just from eating all the yummy food. We've already finished off one box, only ten more to go!!! Mmmm.. mmmmm.. go ahead, you can admit you're jealous. oh yah.. we got some sweet shirts, too!

Our very own firstest thanksgiving!

We had thanksgiving dinner at our house!!! My brothers came and john and I cooked all the food!!! It was actually pretty fun. We pulled out all the serving platters, etc. that we haven't used yet... Then, we stuffed ourselves with lots o food... and ended the day with some dr. mario and board games!

Bowling FUN

We went bowling with my bro-skis the other day. It was fun.. Good, nice, fun, family time... and in case you were wondering, I DIDN"T win!!!
