My Sister is Visiting!

I'm taking a break from posting the pics of Maine... We're back from Maine and my little sister, Laura, is out here visiting. She's going to EFY for a week too! On her first day here, we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house.. and then we went to tour the Bingham Copper Mine. The temple open house was really neat. Plus, living in Maine, you don't see many temple open houses. We had a wonderful time. The copper mine was really cool. The hole is HUGE and the dump trucks were the biggest things I've ever seen. They even had a set of stairs to get up to the driver's seat. Crazy!!

Maine!!

This is our first day in Maine. We went on the ferry out to Peaks Island with my mom. We rented bikes and rode around the island!!! Probably one of my favorite things to do!! and then we got blueberry ice cream after the bike ride. The funniest thing was mom riding the tandem bike- all I have to say is- she made lots of funny screams while riding. More pics to come!

Alright, there are a few more pics to post of Arizona, but these are pretty much the last of them. We went to downtown flagstaff one of the last nights in Arizona. We also went canoe-ing on the 4th. John forgot his sweatshirt in the car and had to borrow his mom's jacket instead. Pretty funny! Ahh.. it was a great trip. Up next is the pics of our Maine trip!

Flagstaff: Slide Rock

we went to a place in Sedona called Slide Rock. It was awesome. It's natural waterslides made in the rock. We spent a few hours there.. swimming and sliding. We also had some fun on a rope swing! This place was probably my favorite part of the whole trip.

Day 2 of Arizona: Hike to Cathedral Rock

We went on a hike the second day we were in Flagstaff. It was a hike to Cathedral Rock in Sedona. So fun!!!.. but very hot! .. as you can see, the sweat is dripping off John's forehead in one of the pics. It was an awesome view at the top.. you could see everything!.. and there was some cactus up there.. and some lizards. Very cool!

more Arizona!

While in Flagstaff, we also went on a mountain bike ride. It ended up being really really long.. but it was fun. There were some really awesome views. John did some crazy parts of the trail where everyone else walked their bikes down. (as seen in video). More pics to come!

Happy Birthday to JOHN!

Yesterday was John's birthday. He's the big 3-0!!! We celebrated by hanging out with John's grandma and going out to eat and opening presents. It was a fun day. John is a wonderful husband. He is so helpful and supportive and we have so much fun together!! Love you John!

Flagstaff Reunion!

So.. i have WAY too many pics to post.. This is just part of day 1 at the indian ruins in walnut canyon. John and I went down to Flagstaff along with lots of his family (not everyone could make it). It was so fun.. and very hot! We saw all these indian ruins and homes they built. It was really cool!
