and.. there you have it- thanksgiving dinner itself

We spent Thanksgiving weekend in Denver with John's family. It was so much fun. We had Thanksgiving dinner, went to see the Nutcracker ballet, played games, played tennis, and lots more. John's whole entire family was there, including neices and nephews. The weather was amazing, so we played tennis OUTSIDE in November!! The Nutcracker ballet was amazing (thanks Carol and Merlin!). It was so fun to see family and spend time with them. I am so grateful for the wonderful families John and I both have and I feel blessed this Thanksgiving. Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday!

Mama DiFiore's Visit to Utah

My mom came out to visit us all in Utah. We played tons and tons of games, went bowling, had a mini Thanksgiving dinner, and worked out at the gym. It was so good to see her and spend time with her. Even though the trip was low-key, I think we all had a blast. We miss you already, MOM!

Oahu, Crazy Waves, and the Polynesian Cultural Center

The Luau!!
mmmmm.. Shave Ice!

the biggest waves I've ever seen (at Waiamea Bay)
John's prize for volunteering for playing the Tongan drums
that's right, we learned how to play the ukulele

This was our first day in Oahu. The waves on the north shore were insane! They were telling people that the water was too dangerous. We also went to the POlynesian Cultural Center which was awesome!

Windsurfing, Snorkeling and more.. Are you sick of Hawaii Yet?

We went windsurfing, which I have determined as overrated, but John like it. We also went snorkeling. It was my first time and it was AAAWWWEESOME!! We saw dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays, and fish! The dolphins were the coolest.. we swam right next to them for a long time. I promise there's only like 2 more posts of pictures left!
