so.. we went for a motorcycle ride with some friends from the ward.. it was pretty fun.. long ride.. my butt hurt afterwards.. whew!.. we stopped at a lake up the canyon too, and hiked around..

Vacation, Swimmation, Bonfiration...
Ahh.. We spent a day at the pool.. and it was bliss. Can I just say, I love the pool.. actually, I prefer lakes.. but since those are scarce in these parts, I'll settle for the pool. We also had a little bonfire with tin foil dinners.. Mmm mmm.. it was fun times. Vacation has been wonderful.. and I'm sorry to admit, I'm starting to get a little bored.Tagged!

1. My trip to San Diego with soem work friends and Adam where my car broke down in Beaver and we had to rent a car to go .. and we spent all our days by the ocean on the beach, or at the pier.. it was definitely worth it!
2. hmm.. maybe camping trips with my family ... in Acadia national park.. those were always so fun.. and... umm.. eventful! definitely eventful!

Nerd-fest
John has a model airplane .. a little "side hobby," if you will. SO, on saturday, we went and flew it. Apparently, there are a whole bunch of nerdy old men who also own model airplanes cuz they were there too.. all just sitting there taking turns flying their planes.. It was pretty funny. Also, you'll see pictured above that john makes an awesome face when he flies his plane and concentrates real hard.. It made me laugh so I caught it on camera.

Steamboat Springs, CO
John and I went to Steamboat Springs, Colorado for his family reunion this past weekend. Sorry there are so many pics, but i still have yet to figure out the whole slide show thingy. Steamboat was so fun! He has a huge fam... and i had a blast. We saw hot air balloons, tubed down the river, went to a rodeo, went mountain biking, played tennis, and much more. You'll see in the pics, that john and I attempted to tube down the river in a pool chair.. for your information, this is NOT a good idea.. we totally dumped outta that thing in about two seconds! At least it provided some entertainment for those on the river banking. It was good times and it was my first time to colorado! so fun!Swimming and birthdays!
I'm doing some catching up on my blogging, so these pics are a bit random. We went swimming over the fourth of july weekend.. John's roommate is a diving instructor, so he did some sweet dives!!! it was fun.. and John smacked his back on the water (pictured above). ANother pic is from the fourth of july.. and the rest are john's birthday. We had Thai food... and then we had a cake.. with a bazillion candles on it.. cuz it was a combined party for him and his friend brian. It was fun times.. and the cake was a blazing ball of fire!

Laura comes to UTAH!
Laura came to Utah for EFY .. and to hang out!!! It was so fun. We went tubing down the Provo river, had a picnic in the canyon at moss ledge, ate at the mayan- and we knew one of the divers!, john took laura for a motorcycle ride adn they hit a deer, we went to a fun ward activity, shopping, and swimming at my pool!!! It was good times had by all.
